Ever since the launch of SUN-WIN Joint Research Institute for Nanotechnology, collaborative research projects have been a priority. In May, 2012, the first batch of 12 projects were reviewed and approved, receiving almost $1 million of funding from Suzhou Industrial Park and Soochow University.
