◆CNST is a new college jointly established by Soochow University, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) and the University of Waterloo (Canada).

◆CNST was approved as one of the 17 National Pilot Colleges by the Ministry of Education in October 2011. It is pioneering the promotion of higher education transformation in China.

◆CNST has 158 faculty and staff.

◆There are 1120 students in the college, including 411 undergraduates, 549 master students, and 160 Ph.D. candidates.

◆CNST, FUNSOM, and SUN-WIN Joint Research Institute for Nanotechnology (jointly established in 2011 by Soochow University, Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology at the University of Waterloo, and SIP) are pioneering a “trinity” organizational form combining teaching, research, and industrialization.
