Research Interests

By using Ultrahigh Vacuum-Scanning Tunneling Microscopy(UHV-STM)and other surface sensitive techniques (e.g. XPS, LEED and etc.),we study the self-assembly, the on-surface synthesis of low dimensional organic nanoarchitectures resolved at the single-atom level, including a series of aspects

)Designing multicomponent supramolecular architectures onsolid surfaces;

2)On-surface synthesis of conjugated organic nanostructures;

3) On-surface template synthsis via non-covalent interactions (e.g. metal-organic coordination bonds).
