POSITION DESCRIPTION
3-5 postdoc positions are now open in the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Soochow University, Suzhou, China. These positions are co-supported by Soochow University and leading pharmaceutical enterprises and biotechnology companies (e.g. BrightGene, Suzhou) with an annual salary of ~$75,000. The postdoc researchers will conduct research works under the supervision of the faculty members at the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Soochow University and in collaboration with scientists from the enterprises. The preferred research topic covers the following aspects: nucleic acid and its delivery systems, cell therapy, protein and/or peptide drugs, novel vaccines, andmolecular targeted drugs. This is a three-year term appointment aimed at supporting the candidates intending to pursue academic and/or industry careers.
ELIGIBILITY:
l Have doctoral degrees and training or experience in pharmacy, biomaterials, immunology, biology, bioengineering, or a relevant field. The relevant backgrounds are preferred in the fields of nucleic acid and its delivery systems, cell therapy, protein and/or peptide drugs, novel vaccines, and molecular targeted drugs.
l Applicants in the first three years after receiving their PhD degrees.
l Highly self-motivated and productive applicants with a personality of both integrity and enthusiasm are strongly encouraged.
l Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English are expected.
