Soochow University is a comprehensive university with 134 undergraduate programs from 24 faculties. International students can be enrolled in all the undergraduate programs that Soochow University offers.

Soochow University offers over 30 fields leading to master's degrees and doctoral degrees in business, education, law, liberal arts, social and natural science.

Soochow University offers both long-term and short-term Chinese programs for international students. The programs contain not only language training courses, but also courses on Chinese history, geography, traditional music, calligraphy, and many cultural activities as well.

Currently, Soochow University offers four kinds of scholarships to international students: Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship, Jiangsu Government Scholarship, and Soochow University International Student Scholarship.
